Bingqing joined the PhD program at Carnegie Mellon University in 2017. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Hong Kong. She worked as a research intern in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2020 and Bosch Research in 2021. Her primary research interest is on making reinforcement learning agents safe and sample-efficient to be viable for real-world applications. She won best paper award at ACM BuildSys 2019, and best paper nomination at IEEE SmartGridComm 2020 and ACM e-energy 2021.
