Ronald Holt is a PhD Student (Part-Time) in the Deptartment of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He is interested in developing deep learning applications to improve energy disaggregation (or non-intrusive load monitoring) leveraging multi-task based solutions. Ron is a Associate Director, Data Science at Merck. Previously he worked as a Sr. Data Scientist at ZimmerBiomet in Pittsburgh, PA. He has also worked in various research capacities at Vanderbilt University, and as a Data Scientist on the Research Team at HCA Healthcare in Nashville, TN.
